The perfect stop! We stopped for breakfast on our travels & it was better than we could've hoped for! The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, & the atmosphere was wonderful! This is a family run business in the very best way, the owner even stopped by the table to check on us. Don't miss the chance to admire & purchase Busy Lizzy's art in the corner by the register, so many cute options! Just two miles off I-64 makes it the perfect stop for people who love a hometown diner!

We have been eating at Cascade Cafe almost since it's opening. The restaurant is very clean, cheery with mint green walls and artwork by local artist "Busy Lizzy." The wait staff, cooks and family are all very friendly. We have tried everything on the menu and appreciate the homemade goodness of each item. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Cinnamon roll is a sweet treat that’s hidden in this perfect gem. Extremely clean, inviting atmosphere in this unique establishment. The owner is friendly, makes a trip to the table to make sure ur welcome. Food was excellent.

We were on our way to Holiday World. My husband looked up breakfast restaurants on google and came across Cascade Cafe. There were 6 of us and I thought for sure we would be waiting forever for a table. But it only took about 15 minutes to get us seated. The waitresses were all so nice and helpful. Everyone had a smile. The food came out fast and was delicious! They do have a pretty small menu and only offer scrambled eggs on Saturday. But that is genius to help get people fed quickly, knowing it’s a busy time. We spoke with the owner, who was also very nice! He gave us suggestions of other places to visit and invited us back. He was genuinely kind and I appreciate that so much! Especially since myself and my husband are heavily tattooed, and our oldest daughter has several facial piercings, people tend to treat us differently. We felt completely welcomed and appreciated as much as every other person there. There was a large family with several small children that had come in, when they saw how full the restaurant was, they walked back out. One of the waitresses ran out to stop them and assured them they would have a table soon, I thought that was very nice. I was even more surprised when I got the bill! The prices are more than reasonable! I highly suggest you visit this great little gem!

I have also had the oats served with brown sugar, butter, and syrup, and the portion was huge and delightful. And the French toast? Hands down the best around! It’s made fresh with thick-cut brioche bread and is the perfect balance of crispy edges and soft, custardy center.
